The pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry has experienced significant consolidation over the last two decades. As a result, 3 giant corporations have nearly 80% market share. At the same time, innovation – particularly technological innovation – has stagnated, resulting in most health plans relying upon inefficient, expensive to operate legacy systems. This has driven costs higher and client satisfaction lower, especially over the last 3 years. That is why Capital Rx, a full-service pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) and pharmacy benefit administrator (PBA), created JUDI® – to build the electronic infrastructure our nation needs to deliver the healthcare we deserve.
JUDI is an award-winning cloud-native enterprise health platform, unifying all pharmacy operations/administration tasks within one flexible, user-friendly ecosystem. In order to create greater awareness of the platform and its capabilities, Capital Rx created an 8-month integrated campaign with two specific goals:
Establish Capital Rx as the leading new player in the pharmacy claims processing ecosystem.
Showcase JUDI and how its advanced technology now caters to Medicare and Medicaid plans, in addition to commercial plans.
To accomplish these goals, our campaign covered 8 different marketing channels – including email marketing, social media, paid ads, LinkedIn and display retargeting, and content marketing (i.e. webinars, videos, blogs, and a whitepaper) -- focused on showcasing JUDI’s expansive capabilities, the various functionalities that exist within the platform, the limitations of the ~5 legacy systems health plans have used for decades, and how JUDI’s modern tools can be leveraged by health plans to drive greater operational efficiency while reducing overall spending.
