The CNBC Brand Studio is producing a 20-episode video series featuring EY subject matter experts and the firm’s clients who impart timely advice and strategic insights on topics ranging from emerging tech and changing business models to consumer behavior and ESG. The primary goal of the campaign is to position EY as an innovative and trusted strategic business advisor that helps C-suite leaders navigate the evolving operational landscape. Episodes air weekly on CNBC during commercial time of the highly visible “Squawk Box” program, with digital promotion of the content launching the same day. The multiplatform branded content series also features six full-length articles, which run on CNBC.com with a corresponding episode and in a dedicated Apple News Brand Channel. The CNBC Brand Studio deployed a full suite of promotional tactics to drive traffic to the content, including native tout headlines, a Stories ad unit, a Rich Media Video Content Portal Unit and a sponsored social campaign on Facebook. On Apple News, Native Ads and Direct Response units drive to the episodes and articles in Apple News environment.
The multiplatform campaign is resulting in success across the board, with above benchmark performance of native touts, Rich Media Unit video view rate, Stories ad unit CTR and social promotion VVR.
