The Xiluo area is an important historical town in Yunlin County, Taiwan. In addition to its well-known soy sauce and rice industries, it is famous for the ancient Chikan Fist Martial Arts and the once prosperous Yenping Old Street. Furthermore, the most renowned tourist attraction is the Xiluo Bridge.

The Xiluo Bridge is a significant landmark in Taiwan and was a crucial thoroughfare for north-south transportation before the construction of highways. Often referred to as the "Far East's Largest Bridge," it spans the Jhuoshuei River, connecting Changhua and Yunlin counties. The bridge is 1,939.03 meters long, 7.32 meters wide, with 30 piers, and it has been in use since its completion in 1953 during the Japanese colonial period.

The vibrant red color of the Xiluo Bridge symbolizes its fiery presence, highlighting the confidence, strength, and enthusiasm that the event aims to convey. The design emphasizes the connection between past generations and the present through the lines of the number 70, showcasing the ongoing significance of the bridge. The 70th anniversary celebration of the Xiluo Bridge opening underscores its unique and indispensable importance to the Yunlin and Changhua counties.

In 2023, marking the 70th anniversary of its opening, Yunlin and Changhua have planned a grand two-day event on October 21 and 22 called the "Xiluo Bridge Folk Art Parade Festival" Collaborating with local Fusing Temple, Xiluo Chikan Fist Martial Arts and Cultural Foundation, and 30 other temples, the celebration includes a series of parades, cultural performances, and traditional martial arts demonstrations. On the 22nd, the event calls upon local residents to join thousands in walking across the "Far East's Largest Bridge" as part of the "Yun-Chang Art Parade Celebrates 70 Years" activity, illuminating the entire bridge and celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Xiluo Bridge's opening.
