The newly redesigned Finance & Development magazine—an International Monetary Fund publication with a 60-year history—marks a pivotal moment in its evolution. This overhaul gives the brand a more modern look and feel, while cementing its place as a serious magazine at the forefront of the global economic debate.
With a new design featuring sophisticated grid layouts, refined typography, and strategic art direction, the magazine now provides a more engaging reading experience. The integration of high-quality, thought-provoking artwork further enhances the magazine’s unique look and feel.
Central to this redesign is the ambition to widen the magazine's readership. Currently boasting a print subscription base of 25,000 and an online readership surpassing 5 million unique visitors annually, the magazine aims to connect with an even broader audience, including academics, policymakers, and the next generation of influential thinkers. The broadened appeal of the new print design should help achieve this objective as we mark F&D’s passage into its seventh decade.
