How do you follow the largest nonsporting event in history produced by BI WORLDWIDE for DELTA at Mercedes-Benz Stadium a year later? By amping it up yet another level with richer content and environmentally friendly solutions.

On January 24th - 25th, 2024, 6,000 DELTA leaders experienced firsthand, the future-focused initiatives that would help Delta Air Lines to Keep Climbing in 2024 and beyond. Building on last year's success with Delta Air Lines, BI WORLDWIDE set out to evolve the onstage program even further by adding next level engagement and razor-focused messaging while at the same time converging sustainability and efficiency.

To prove sustainability was of key importance to Delta, BI WORLDWIDE even stored and re-used all the scenic and registration elements from the previous year which added up to savings for the environment and the program. The jaw-dropping original design evolved in 2024 to feature a unique “treetop” platform 12’ above the endzone allowing CEO Ed Bastian and other leaders to be close to the audience with striking Delta brand driven visual backdrops that focused all eyes forward. Portals were added to the front of the stage to allow presenters easy access to the audience and unique digital Delta theme branding was ever-present at all arena touchpoints including in-arena ribbon strips. To eliminate waste, all engagement touchpoints integrated leading-edge technologies by using the BIW event app. Even the Delta Digital ID system was implemented for quick lanyard-less access into the reception!

To zero in on clarity of messaging, Delta Air Lines and BI WORLDWIDE worked to format four clear session agenda “quarters” throughout the day. All on-stage presentations, on-screen graphics and animation supported each quarter with clear and actionable takeaways. Moments of fun and levity were integrated between quarters to reinforce unity, engagement and laughter.

The results proved a resounding increase in attendee scores and surveys on every level. Through the partnership of Delta Air Lines and BI WORLDWIDE, global leaders were able to celebrate the past, learn and engage with present initiatives and get excited about Delta’s steps towards a zero-carbon future.
