Kawasaki, the motorcycle, side-by-side, ATV and Powersports behemoth, recruited BI WORLDWIDE for their largest side-by-side launch in their 51-year history at the Phoenix Convention Center in January of 2024. This launch was to have global impact and visibility as all the top brass Kawasaki executives, motorsports press and all of the North American Dealers were invited to the event.
BI WORLDWIDE, working alongside Kawasaki marketing, formulated an on-stage solution that looked much like a 90-minute movie full of months of artfully produced product footage, tech motion graphics, bold messaging, lighting effects and vivid animated panoramic backdrops housed on a new, first-time used super high resolution 108’ wide by 20’ tall LED screen. 28 Kawasaki products including the much-anticipated all new RIDGE side-by-side were paraded before enthusiastic audience members with meticulous logistical ride-on planning. Every drive line, position on the stage, light illumination and environmental backdrop was formulated for maximum show impact. On stage scripting for presenters was and poignant to let the products and marketing prove Kawasaki’s dominance versus lengthy walk-arounds and belabored speeches.
The excitement of the on-stage show was peppered with brief ride-on celebrity appearances in full-gear by Kawasaki sponsored Supercross, Enduro and stunt riders like that of an official motocross event and the world premiere of Kawasaki’s first Super Bowl commercial for the new RIDGE Side-by-Side featuring legendary wrestler, media personality and actor, Steve Austin debuted to a delighted audience. BI WORLDWIDE crafted an unforgettable finale that sent shockwaves into the motorsport’s social media world with an on-stage surprise appearance by Steve Austin after the RIDGE drive-on. After some on-stage banter, Steve simulated cracking our LED screen with a powerful punch through the magic of motion graphics. Our automated LED screen parted down the middle to reveal a drive-through corridor directly into the New Product Showcase where attendees would get to touch, feel and experience all of the new Kawasaki products. The attendees were invited to cross the stage and follow Steve for a seamless, progressive event.
The results were astounding with maximum press coverage and Dealer fanaticism at its highest!
