About The Entry

In the current situation, the processing of kitchen waste faces multiple challenges: it emits unpleasant odors, the disposal rate is slow, and common treatment methods pollute the environment. The existing compost machines are mostly small household devices designed for home use, which not only have high operating costs but also limited processing capabilities, making them unsuitable for large-scale sustainable treatment.
To address these issues, we introduce C-Loop—a community-based food waste recycling and composting system. C-Loop encourages community residents to actively participate in kitchen waste recycling through a reward mechanism. The recycled kitchen waste is then converted into fertilizer for cultivating fruits and vegetables, which are subsequently sold to community residents, creating a perfect ecological cycle. Our goal is to promote broader participation in food waste recycling through a more environmentally friendly method of composting, solving the many problems currently faced by food waste recycling and contributing to the development of sustainable communities and cities.
C-Loop aims to break through the dilemma of traditional food waste disposal by offering an innovative recycling system that provides community residents with an environmentally friendly and convenient lifestyle option. It not only addresses the pain points of kitchen waste disposal but also paves the way for a green, sustainable future.
