About The Entry

The product planning is targeted towards young trendsetters, presenting a tea gift set with an oriental romantic theme inspired by tea and love letters. Each edition of the product features a selection of representative Chinese teas, forming tea-flavored gift boxes with different themes, narrating an ancient Chinese love story. Chinese tea, with its Oriental flavor and expression, serves as a medium to convey Chinese romantic sentiments.
In the design, we use tea as a means to write love letters, incorporating the traditional symbol of "double happiness" (a symbol of eternal unity) into the packaging's main visual by outlining it in the shape of a heart. For the initial edition, the packaging combines illustrations from the IP of "The Peony Pavilion," a renowned play written by Tang Xianzu, often hailed as the "Shakespeare of the East," over four centuries ago. This design transports readers between reality and fantasy, evoking deep emotions and sentiments. The flowing water represents the melody of a qin (a traditional Chinese musical instrument), the mountains and rocks symbolize percussion, the flora and fauna act as a chorus, and the rustling of wind and grass create a symphony. The scent of tea permeates the senses and enters the realm of dreams. It is dedicated to consumers who love and are devoted to promoting traditional Chinese culture.
For the initial packaging, a frosted transparent outer box is used to reflect the theme of "The Peony Pavilion," evoking an emotional experience of "dream-like ambiguity, appearing both real and illusory." The packaging as a whole possesses a sense of planning and extensibility, with the "double happiness" symbol as the main visual. In the future, different series of products can be continuously launched by creating collaborations that match the exclusive colors and illustrations of the teas, combined with topical communication, thereby strengthening the brand.
