Kaohsiung, Taiwan's largest port city, was once a booming metropolis known for its diverse ethnic groups and unique landscape, featuring both mountains and the sea. The city's evolution from old to new offers a rich tapestry of history and cultural integration, stretching across urban and mountainous areas. Kaohsiung is a city where mountains, urban areas, and the sea seamlessly connect, transcending cultural, racial, historical, and geographical boundaries. This dynamic interplay between the mountains and the sea is what defines Kaohsiung. We've invited international influencers who have lived in Taiwan for many years and fallen deeply in love with Kaohsiung to participate in filming, exploring the city together.
The exploration is divided into themes: "Mountain Wanderings," which focuses on the mountain line and indigenous culture; "Harbor Scenery," showcasing the past and present splendor of the port city; and "Urban Flavors," highlighting the human touch, delicious food, and a century-old soy sauce brewing tradition in the old town of Zuoying and the new city. This creates a flowing image of Kaohsiung as a place where mountains and seas come together.
