Flint Culture delivered the social media launch for Design Space AlUla, the first permanent gallery space dedicated to showcasing design initiatives across AlUla, which opened in February 2024 in the desert oasis in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
New Instagram and LinkedIn channels were launched for the space to communicate the inaugural exhibition and the opening symposium event, bridging the gap between the remote desert location of the space and worldwide audiences.
During the campaign, Flint Culture team developed and shared 150+ pieces of tailored social media content in English and Arabic. Through the usage of dynamic audio-visual formats, Design Space AlUla welcomed its digital audiences to the gallery, invited the users behind the scenes of the exhibition, and offered a chance to explore the works and engage with the opening events.
By facilitating digital collaborations with participants of the opening exhibition and symposium as well as local tourist bodies, the team directed the campaign message to the professional networks of designers, architects and urban planners as well as culturally curious tourists interested in visiting AlUla.
The digital launch reached over 140,000 people, generating 5,700+ engagements and building a follower base of 2,300+ users across Saudi Arabia and international design hubs. Using only organic tools, the launch celebrated the story of design in the region and built a digital foundation for the brand to grow its industry recognition over months to come.
