The typical Zeiss exhibit involved displaying the actual high-precision microscope systems and all the necessary equipment required. This included all the logistical issues associated with equipment availability, shipping and handling of delicate equipment, extra costs to labor and show services as well as coordinating and housing all the technical support needed per show. The new design commissioned to create a slick, high tech and inviting exhibit that would clearly communicate the capabilities of Zeiss’s microscopes and research solutions. The challenge required to streamline all costs and logistical concerns by eliminating the actual microscope systems and equipment yet create an effective way to experience the microscopes while also marketing the products features, capabilities, and technology in an engaging environment.
The Exhibit Company’s design opened the booth space up by eliminating counters and bulky storage. A visually open presentation area was added with a large 15’w x 8’h LED video wall and lounge seating, offering daily timed presentations with speakers. There were individual touch screen and live demo stations linked to remote labs with technicians demonstrating actual product, allowing for discussion and Q&A. The “WOW WALL” consisted of 6 -55” vertical touch screens that visually linked content, creating an engaging interactive fun experience.
