PTO'ing Made Easy

Parents have a lot to keep up with in school aged children. Staying on top of school communication, teacher communication, the school calendar, events, forms, performances, family gatherings, meetings and opportunities is a part time job. If parents have 2 school aged children and work a full-time job or run a business, it’s nearly impossible. This is compounded by clunky public-school websites that are confusing and rarely updated with current school year information. This is where a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) website can save the day for parents, it can give them back hours of parsing information together and prevent them from missing an important performance or required form. To help parents of Lockeland Design Center, a top-ranked elementary school in Nashville TN, we took an archaic PTO website, developed in 2009, and rebuilt it into a functional, easy to navigate, all-information-in-one-place lifesaving hub for all parents. Here, they can see what they need to do and when. They don't have to go on a scavenger hunt to figure out supply lists, upcoming events, or where to find the platforms their kid's teachers use to communicate. We got inside the brains of busy parents of school aged children and took them from a worst case scenario website experience to a best-in-class easy peasy time saving masterpiece. https://lockelandpto.org/
