Not long after ChatGPT shocked the world and taught us all the phrase ‘generative AI’, the IMF published a brief but far-reaching study projecting the potential impact of the technology on employment. In short: 40% of all jobs will be affected – but affected how?

Given the uncertainty around GAI's future, we thought that some of the doomsaying was best tempered by data. To unpack it all and explore how we respond to the development of GAI, Creative Solutions worked with IMF economists to create this video showcasing the vital role fiscal policies can play in guiding GAI's growth so that we’re creating a future where it’s boosting productivity, and not undermining human potential.
