SCAD is a home far away from home for thousands of SCAD Bees, including twin sisters and fencing all-stars Hanna (M.A. luxury and brand management; B.F.A., advertising and branding, 2022) and Yana Andreyenka (M.A. luxury and brand management; B.F.A., advertising and branding, 2022). The sisters are dedicated athletes, who embarked from Belarus to join the SCAD Atlanta fencing team and pursue the creative careers of their dreams. For the Andreyenka twins, fencing is more than a sport — it’s a lifelong passion, perfectly integrated into their student experience and the vibrant artist-athlete community at SCAD.
