Puzzle Palace—Your State of Play

Story & design studio By Hart was called upon for a rapid rebrand and all-new app vision for the games platform formerly known as Puzzles Palace.

From establishing ownable, repeatable graphic patterns for individual puzzle and game sub-branding to evolving the Puzzles brand name for stylistic and grammatical elegance (a must for an audience largely made up of proud linguaphiles and word nerds), Sarah Hartley’s creative dream team worked closely with client King Features to reimagine their legacy brand to keep modern players inspired and engaged. Services included crafting new brand positioning, viz id, and product design system foundation (as well as evolving a new player-created logo concept).
