Attracting 150,000 visitors, the "Chiayi Flower Festival" is the largest outdoor flower festival in Chiayi at the end of each year. From a flower theme at the beginning, the festival has gradually combined six aspects, including "Rural Education", "Floral Sea", "Lifestyle", "Aesthetic Life", "Installation Art" and "Music Performance", to re-shape the "Chiayi Flower Festival" that has multiple interactions with the public.
At the venue, people enjoyed the natural beauty of blooming cosmos, youth-and-age, and African marigolds. 20 hectares of flowers are the essence, and there are also installation art and DIY experiences to take part in. Workshops extended the theme of flowers and plants, offering courses in flower arranging, herbal tea, and table experiences to convey the aesthetics of a slow-paced life to the public. Moreover, the two-day themed bazaar was expanded to include more than 100 gourmet and handmade brands from all over Taiwan to satisfy people's appetite for food and shopping. Lastly, eight bands, including Accusefive and Cosmos People, were invited to perform at the event. The diversified activities satisfy people's taste buds and ears while effectively promoting the local economy.
