Forward 2024

"Forward" is a visually compelling six-part animation series, each just 60 seconds long, designed for broadcast on the television wall in the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) building lobby. Each film explores the profound impact of technology on society, with "light" serving as the central metaphor for innovation and progress. The series covers key areas of technological advancement in Taiwan—AI, semiconductors, cybersecurity, space exploration, precision health, and climate change.
Created as non-narrative shorts that rely on evocative visual imagery rather than storytelling, these films aim to captivate viewers with striking black-and-white cinematic visuals. They are structured to seamlessly transition from darkness to light, symbolizing a hopeful, tech-driven future. This artistic approach fosters a futuristic vision of human-technology synergy, while projecting a cutting-edge, high-tech image for the NSTC. At the end of each short, viewers are encouraged to scan a QR code, linking to the NSTC's 'CHARMING SCITECH' publication about science and technology, where they can dive deeper into technological knowledge and promote science education.
