The design of this publication was inspired by the Ministry of Agriculture's Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation (MOA), which aims to bring rural engineering closer to everyday life. Public perceptions of rural development projects often revolve around technical data, making it difficult for the general audience to relate. By adopting an accessible context and a travel literature format, the publication highlights the achievements of rural projects each year, showcasing them as newly discovered travel destinations. This approach fosters a deeper connection between Taiwan's rural engineering efforts and the public, bridging the gap between technical achievements and the everyday experiences of citizens.
-Participation of a Guide: The second issue of the magazine features renowned travel writer Liu Ka Shiang as the guest guide, contributing to the content creation. The involvement of a well-known figure not only attracts public interest but also provides deeper, more professional insights, enriching and enlivening the content.
-Enhanced Interactivity: The magazine incorporates QR code scanning and e-book features, allowing readers to access additional information directly through scans, increasing engagement and participation. This transforms the publication from a traditional print format into a multimedia interactive platform.
-Presentation of Travel Literature: The content balances literary appeal and construction knowledge with a 60:40 ratio. Sixty percent of the magazine is written in a travel literature style, offering soft, accessible narratives, while the remaining forty percent focuses on concrete construction knowledge and technical details. This ensures readers receive valuable information while maintaining the content’s appeal and educational value.
