DLR Group embarked on an exciting journey to revitalize the brand of The Hotel Zamora, a spa-like oasis nestled on the pristine shores of St. Pete Beach. This luxurious and distinctive retreat exudes Mediterranean-inspired charm, offering a perfect blend of sophistication and relaxation against the backdrop of breathtaking Gulf of Mexico views. The new brand encapsulates stylish coastal elegance, with luxury-focused colors and tasteful decor creating an inviting atmosphere imbued with coastal flair. As a premier wedding destination, The Hotel Zamora invites guests to indulge in culinary delights at the on-site restaurant, Azura Coastal Kitchen, where fresh, locally sourced ingredients take center stage. The rooftop bar, Azura Sundown Rooftop, offers a stunning vantage point for enjoying sunsets over the Gulf, making it a beloved spot for both visitors and locals. Hotel Zamora promises a refined beachfront experience, combining luxurious amenities with the laid-back allure of St. Pete Beach.

The project, spearheaded by the XGD Studio at DLR Group, began with a comprehensive on-site evaluation and a series of in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including ownership, management, the client’s design team, and hotel staff. The initial objective was to craft a new positioning strategy to transform the hotel, restaurant, bar, and rooftop into not only a destination for guests but also a popular local hangout for nearby residents. The culmination of their efforts resulted in new names, fresh identity marks, a comprehensive brand guide outlining color schemes and typography choices, and a diverse array of brand applications across in-house items and select merchandise available for purchase within the hotel. DLR Group provided brand development services, including naming, throughout the entirety of the project, ensuring a cohesive and captivating transformation.
