We were tasked with exploring copy and visuals to portray the lead character in a way that conveyed her situation in a singular, impactful image. In exploring all of the photography, one image stood out to us-
A misfire where part of the flash had failed, making a pronounced core shadow on the face. We explored using this shadowy face combined with wringing a wet, bloody towel, against a stark white background, to showcase the lead as a morally ambiguous antihero.
