Intel wanted to inform high-level decisionmakers across a wide range of industries of the capabilities of Intel’s AI platforms. Intel AI: Setting the Gold Standard was a multi-platform branded content program that highlighted how Intel enriched the Olympic and Paralympic Games with ground-breaking AI technology—technology that will yield enormous benefits for businesses beyond the sporting arena. Leveraging interviews with Intel SMEs, the articles and videos explained the Intel technology powering key AI-powered experiences at the Olympics and made the connection to how those Intel capabilities can be utilized by enterprise.
A series of four custom articles, each highlighting a unique use case, ran on CNBC.com and on the websites of eight local NBC broadcast stations in key DMAs with high-value B2B audiences. The articles were promoted via native touts and custom content units. Key messaging points from each article were then distilled into four custom social “explainer” videos, which were posted on and promoted from a CNBC social handle as well as in video cards on CNBC.com—all with CTAs driving back to the articles. The videos were also adapted to run on Peacock, NBCU’s streaming platform, during Olympic and Paralympic programming and included a QR code driving viewers to the articles. All promotional tactics were targeted to Intel’s desired ITBDM and C-Suite audiences during the Paris’24 Olympics and Paralympics.
The promotional content and video units exceeded benchmarks by 180% and 140%, respectively, with average attention time and scroll depth of the content exceeding benchmarks by 15% and 19%, respectively.
