Comparion Insurance is a relatively new brand in the category, which means awareness is not high. That said, consumer sentiment with the brand is incredibly high. People actually like working with Comparion, but in order to grow they needed to build their brand and bring it to the world. An insurance brand people actually like? How novel.
So when we were asked to develop a super in-depth film of how Comparion works, who it works with, and the communities it serves, our job was to take a straight, corporate video brief and turn it something bigger. We’re not afraid of a good corporate video, so we dove in and concepted and delivered something bolder and more anthemic than they were expecting.
We started with the insight that Comparion agents actually live in the communities they serve, so we anchored the narration in the fact that no one knows communities better than the people who live there. We then told the brand’s story, written for audiences of internal agents, business owners, and corporate clients, who needed to understand the nuts and bolts of how the brand delivers value.
The imagery was rooted in Main Street vibes and we paired it with a visual design language that lent itself to real, human moments that were woven underneath the narration.
In the end, clients were thrilled with an anthem they could use to drive new business but one that also served as a foundation to build their brand in the future.
