As a "World Heritage-Mixed Property", Emeishan Mountain has nurtured the distinctive Emeishan Cha. This brand takes the "Zen Tea Culture" as its design core, showcasing the ecological environment and tea culture of the region. The refined brand logo allows us to appreciate the unique culture of Emeishan Cha.
Emeishan Cha is a geographical indication (GI) product of China. The brand logo is derived from the initials "L" and "S" of "Leshan, Sichuan", the legally designated production area, and looks like a cup of tea viewed from above, defining the Emeishan Cha's origin as Leshan. Besides, the logo echoes the modern tea plantations seen from a bird's eye view and the contour lines of high mountains, symbolizing the idea that high mountains and mist produce fine tea. The vertically integrated design signifies that Emeishan Cha gathers the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and the essence of the sun and moon, ultimately becoming a superior tea.
The logo also incorporates the spirit of "Zen Tea Culture". As one of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains, Emeishan Mountain has long been associated with the unity of tea and Zen. At the center of the logo, the "Buddha's hands" outline two flat tea buds, with one sinking and one floating, reflecting the characteristics of Emeishan Cha leaves (flat, straight, and smooth with lingering fragrance) and embodying the "Wisdom and Beauty" spirit of Emeishan Cha. The six lines represent the "Six Roots and Six Consciousnesses" in Buddhist culture, allowing you to experience the Zen spirit brought by high-end Emeishan Cha from "sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, and thought" (Six Consciousnesses) through the "eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind" (Six Roots).
Moreover, the brand's standard colors are based on the tender green of pre-Qingming tea buds and the deep green of summer and autumn tea. In the international color code, the tender green is represented by "C55 M0 Y99 K0", and the deep green by "C77 M0 Y99 K33". The numbers "5, 9, 7, and 3" in the color values are all auspicious in Buddhism, fully interpreting the natural and cultural value of Emeishan Cha.
