About The Entry

Mehr Giah Packaging Redesign
Project Overview
Mehr Giah, an established brand in the Iranian market for over 13 years, renowned for its high-quality herbal teas, embarked on an ambitious project to revamp its visual and verbal identity. This strategic move, led by the creative agency Zigma8, was aimed at significantly boosting sales and exploring international markets.
Innovative Approach
At the heart of this redesign was the challenge of creating a globally appealing yet culturally resonant visual identity. Zigma8, known for its 70+ international awards, masterfully blended contemporary design with traditional Iranian art. Each tea package featured a unique, full-figure human illustration, where the head depicted an attractive image of the product (herbs used in the tea blend), and the body was adorned with intricate decorations reminiscent of Iranian miniature paintings.
Cultural Integration
The essence of each tea blend was artistically represented, not just in visuals but also in symbolism, where the human figures were adorned with elements that reflected the specific herbal composition and benefits of each tea. The use of QR codes on each package further bridged the gap between traditional art and modern technology, leading customers to a comprehensive digital experience.
Market Impact
The redesigned packaging was not just visually striking but also highly effective in attracting a wide range of international partners and investors, including those from the UAE, Oman, USA, Canada, Europe, Armenia, and Iraq. This project exemplified Zigma8's ability to create a blend of art, culture, and marketing strategy, showcasing the power of design in transcending cultural and geographical boundaries.
