The Wind Knows We Meet draws inspiration from contemporary urban life, appealing to audiences of all ages, especially those navigating the fast-paced modern cities. In an era marked by instant information and growing interpersonal distance, the designer reflects on personal and surrounding everyday life, using expressive comic art to reignite an appreciation for genuine emotional connection. Centered around the theme of “encounters and companionship”, the series introduces wind as a core metaphor symbolizing guidance, serendipity, and beautiful encounters, conveying the belief that through encounters we grow.
Visually, the series employs dramatic perspective to accentuate spatial depth and the magnificent city architecture, creating an open and inclusive atmosphere that enhances immersion. Reddish-brown tones, set against the glow of warm sunlight, evoke the emotional associations between tranquil afternoons, golden afterglows and warm companionship. The interplay of light and shadow enhances the human touch and familiarity of the scenes, forming a simple, harmonious aesthetic.
