Ingredion, a leading global ingredients solutions supplier that turns grains, fruits, vegetables, and other plant-based materials into value-added ingredient solutions for food and beverage manufacturers, sought a creative way to promote its Customized Services and Solutions offering. The goal was to promote Ingredion's ability to help manufacturers perfect their formulations to and help then accelerate the process of bringing a new product to market.
INSIGHT
After speaking with product formulators, we learned that they are time-starved, as they spend a considerable amount of time in the test kitchen experimenting with raw ingredients and active compounds to achieve the desired performance (e.g., texture, taste, efficacy, shelf life), while ensuring that formulations meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. They’re also tasked with staying on top of trends and emerging technologies and are always on the lookout for partners to help refine new product formulations and bring them to scale.
SOLUTION
To echo Ingredion’s commitment to innovation, we utilized video storytelling to showcase Ingredion’s past collaborations with food and beverage manufacturers, rather than a traditional downloadable PDF case study. Each 60-second animated video highlighted the challenge the manufacturer faced and how Ingredion’s team of experts helped solve the formulation challenge, reduce the time to market and improve sales. The campaign was promoted through a series of emails and sponsored LinkedIn posts.
