The basis of our creative concept was the architecture itself: a bespoke 'Audi Village' constructed from pristine white shipping containers. Representing openness and transparency, this modular space encapsulated our ambition to open up the Audi brand. Each container was more than just a set piece; it was a portal into the essence of the brand. Four of them were walk-in experience zones, offering an immersive insight into Light Technology, Virtual Reality, Hybrid Powertrains and Cutting-Edge Engineering.
On June 16th, over 500 international guests—including media representatives, creators, and Audi employees—gathered at the brand’s home in Ingolstadt for the Global Q3 Reveal. The day began with exclusive press previews among others in a lounge area designed for content capture. A highlight: the “Unboxing Container,” which could be opened by hand to reveal the new Audi Q3 in its hero color “sage green”—an Instagram-ready statement of intent.
Guests explored the production site and test-drove the current Audi fleet. Then, as night fell, the transformation began. The container village became a colosseum. In the circular arena, 18 vehicles from seven product lines opened the show with precise choreographed driving, setting the stage for the dramatic arrival of the Q3. With the audience surrounding the centre on stepped grandstands, CEO Gernot Döllner stood amongst the crowd, sharing the moment with them.
The following days (17–18 June) saw the arena transformed into a festival — by Audi, for Audi. Replay shows enabled all employees and the public to relive the experience. Audi staff took on roles as moderators, DJs and musicians. Families were invited to explore hands-on activities such as keyring crafting, VR test drives and popcorn stands. The 'Piazzetta' — a transformed garden space — invited visitors to unwind and soak up the summer sun.
Every detail pointed back to one message: This was an event at the heart of Audi—celebrating innovation, community, and the road ahead.
