The Australian Army’s People Capability Branch engaged Synergy Group to develop an internal communication strategy to educate serving members about its future workforce initiatives, culture and the benefits available to them during service. The strategy needed to address Army’s strategic priorities while also resonating, connecting and providing purpose to personnel. Our top-down and bottom-up engagement supported authentic connection to purpose and culture within Army. The internal communication strategy resulted in a revitalisation of the Army’s Cultural Narrative - it focused on, and tied to, the core values at the heart of who the Australian Army is. Army has also now applied this consistent messaging approach to all mediums of workforce communication including training courses and strategic documents.
