Global paper brand Accent® Opaque wanted their social media presence to better convey how print industry professionals use their paper to create innovative print. We developed a strategy using original photography and video for an authentic look at what makes Accent unique.
Accent wanted to increase the number of followers and level of engagement of its Instagram and LinkedIn profiles, creating a more dynamic social media presence that better communicated to an audience of graphic designers and printers. This meant not only maintaining a regular posting schedule with copy, images, and short-form video content that were consistent with Accent’s brand identity and voice, but also helping designers and printers unlock new levels of creativity by showing them what they can do with Accent.
Using original photography and video to spotlight commercial print samples and paper crafts designed exclusively for Accent’s social audience, we elevated the company’s presence to more reflect their market standing as a premium paper brand.
Using branded visual templates, we infused Accent’s social posts with original photos and videos of real-world projects like their quarterly magazine, Did You Know?, vertical application samples designed by our creative team as part of a longstanding partnership with Accent, and print marketing samples that highlight the quality, versatility, and possibility of Accent paper.
To keep a steady stream of original paper content between commercial print samples, we also created a monthly handheld paper craft video series, Accent Applied, exclusively for the brand’s LinkedIn and Instagram profiles to showcase how a little creativity can go a long way with a high-end paper stock. Each Accent Applied paper craft project is custom-designed by our team, and we made some of the templates available as free downloads to help drive traffic from social to Accent’s website.
Our focus on punchy, designer-centric short videos of print materials using Accent paper proved to be a perfect fit for IG Reels and organic LinkedIn posts, helping to drive both engagement and followership.
