About The Entry

Réno the Fox is transforming the way passengers interact with Luxembourg Airport. Instead of static menus or hidden widgets, Réno is the homepage — the first face travelers meet when they land on the website. He doesn’t ask users to navigate; he invites them to simply ask.
Réno delivers real answers, not links. Whether someone needs flight updates, the luggage belt number for their arriving flight, the nearest ATM in the non-Schengen zone, bus departures, or warm destination ideas for December — Réno replies in seconds, using live airport data. He connects directly to operational systems, ensuring that every response is accurate, contextual, and actionable.
Beyond utility, Réno is designed to feel human. As an animated fox, he adds warmth, identity, and a familiar tone, creating a memorable digital companion for every traveler. His friendly persona is inspired by Luxembourgish cultural heritage, blending technology with storytelling.
Accessibility is built in. Réno speaks multiple languages, can read answers aloud, and adapts seamlessly across mobile and desktop. Through QR handoffs, he even exists beyond the website — appearing on posters and digital screens in the terminal, ready to guide passengers on their journey.
In just four months, Réno answered over 178,000 questions, with 89% positive feedback and 3+ interactions per session. InfoDesk teams report calmer passengers, fewer repetitive calls, and smoother conversations.
Réno isn’t just a chatbot. He’s a new interaction model for airports — one where information finds the traveler, not the other way around. By blending design, technology, and storytelling, Réno sets a new standard for how transportation hubs can use AI to shape passenger experiences.
