Overview
Trip Taxis is a fresh, locally rooted Irish taxi company with a mission to make every journey simple, reliable and friendly.
drawinginc was commissioned to create the brand from the ground up — including the name, visual identity, vehicle livery, advertising, website and merchandise. The goal: to build a modern, trustworthy and distinctly Irish brand that locals instantly recognise and feel good about calling.
Naming
The naming process focused on clarity, memorability, and a touch of Irish character. The name needed to be short, direct and connected to travel. Trip Taxis emerged as the clear choice — simple, energetic, and positive. “Trip” suggests both the practical act of taking a taxi and the enjoyable experience the brand aims to deliver.
Brand Strategy
The brand story was built around three core values:
• Local trust — a community-first, people-focused service.
• Reliability — professional, consistent, dependable.
• Modern simplicity — easy booking, clear design, friendly tone.
These values guided every creative decision, from typography to colour and messaging.
Logo & Identity
The custom wordmark uses rounded, contemporary lettering to convey confidence and approachability. The colour palette pairs deep teal navy (trust, professionalism) with fresh Irish green (energy, warmth), creating a modern yet grounded look.
Vehicle Graphics
High-visibility livery was designed with bold, diagonal shapes inspired by motion and road markings. The green-and-navy scheme ensures instant recognition and a polished presence on the road.
Advertising & Website
Campaigns used clean layouts, bold typography, and simple taglines like “Your trip, sorted.” and “Moving the city forward.”
The website, triptaxis.ie, delivers effortless booking through mobile-first design, streamlined navigation, and unified visuals consistent with the wider brand.
Clothing & Merchandise
Branded uniforms and merchandise — from driver apparel to tote bags — extend the identity with clean, modern consistency.
Outcome
Trip Taxis now has a cohesive, professional brand that communicates reliability, trust, and Irish warmth — standing out as a modern, community-focused taxi service.
