2025 Tibetan Cultural & Art Festival

The Tibetan Culture and Art Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, celebrates its 11th anniversary in 2025. Through showcasing a rich array of Tibetan cultural performances, delving into the infinite potential of art, and enriching Taiwan’s inclusive and vibrant multicultural landscape, the Festival has successfully established a platform for cultural and artistic exchanges, and gained recognition from various sectors.
At the 2025 Tibetan Culture and Art Festival, we invite the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) from Dharamshala to present a concert tour. Dharamshala, a hill town on northern India, is not only the exile seat of the 14th Dalai Lama—the spiritual leader of Tibet—but also a vital center for preserving traditional Tibetan culture among overseas Tibetan communities. Founded in 1959, TIPA has been dedicated to preserving, promoting, and sustaining the development of Tibetan traditional arts through its outstanding performances. In this concert tour, TIPA will weave together elements of Tibetan religion, customs, songs, dances, music, and dramas to inteprets the Tibetan spirit in pursuit of harmony and co-existence between humanity and nature. The performances aim to transcend cultural and geographical boundaries, embodying the vitality of cultural co-prosperity.
