RTX, a leader in the aerospace and defense industry, has a process called CORE that has improved workflows for tens of thousands of their employees. For this video, Mountain View Group was asked to showcase a real-life example of the CORE process at work in RTX’s missile program, AMRAAM, and the goal was to gain employee buy-in and awareness of CORE.
In the video, we outlined how CORE has affected AMRAAM’s work output, communication, and capabilities — both internally and externally. The video includes interviews with leaders at AMRAAM and shows how CORE has helped them both improve their output significantly and reduce factory disruptions.
MVG overcame two main production challenges. First, we had to coordinate shooting in various places including Boston, MA and Tucson, AZ while also working around the schedules of very busy RTX employees.
The second challenge we had to overcome involved the nature of the video content. Because the work that AMRAAM does is highly sensitive, we had to be careful about what information and footage was included.
Overall, this video helped support the internal rollout of CORE in RTX while celebrating the improvements that it has created throughout the business.
