Toronto is currently facing a staggering surge in gun violence. The Coalition for Gun Control decided to make a bold statement and launch their first-ever public campaign calling for a national ban on civilian-owned handguns. To instill a sense of urgency and encourage Canadians to sign the petition, an outdoor installation was created and placed in key locations across the city, dramatically revealing Torontou2019s skyline being swallowed up by real bullet casings. The provocative installation attracted local and national attention and was featured on news outlets across the country.
