Polo AlMarsa Qatar 2025 launched a new benchmark for what an outdoor destination event can be: a world-class polo arena and premium hospitality experience built almost on the water on a public pier at Old Doha Port. As Qatar’s first-ever polo event, it combined elite sport, Polo AlMarsa Qatar 2025 set a new benchmark for outdoor destination events: a world-class polo arena and premium hospitality experience built almost on the water at Old Doha Port. Qatar’s first polo event fused elite sport, iconic staging and engineered equine welfare with minimal permanent footprint. We took a location that is normally unsuitable for polo and made it work at scale: Old Doha Port’s public pier, built almost on the water. Polo typically demands expansive land, stable ground and tightly controlled perimeters. We replaced that default with a temporary waterfront arena and a premium ‘city’ around it, engineered to feel permanent, cinematic and effortless for guests, yet installed, operated and removed with minimal footprint. The landscape was not a backdrop. It was the main stage. Polo AlMarsa proved that a complex, high-end equestrian event can be delivered at scale in a non-traditional waterfront location. A full polo arena and a temporary ‘city’ were built almost on the water, on a public pier with limited base infrastructure, then operated and demobilized without losing control, safety or polish. The biggest achievement was operational: turning an atypical site into a welfare-first, premium, public-facing destination experience. Headline results: Attendance reached up to 4,000 guests per day, confirming strong market appetite and delivering significant destination visibility through tourists and international media interest. Complex mobility conditions were managed on a single in and single out route while adjacent cruise ship activity introduced additional pedestrian surges of 1,000 to 5,000 people on many days. The event remained functional and controlled through structured access logic, checkpoints and shuttle coordination. Delivery resilience under pressure: late operational changes, shifting scopes and external constraints were absorbed through rapid on-site decisions and tight cross-stakeholder coordination, protecting timelines and maintaining premium standards. - Integrated production delivery: technical systems, including audio, lighting and LED.
