Wrecked Revival

Wrecked Revival is a series of images that resulted from a computer glitch. It occurred as we reviewed our design of the Revival of Hecate poster. While using the software Adobe Acrobat, we quickly zoomed in several times to an area of the poster. Acrobat couldn’t keep up with the swift zooming, causing the portion of the poster that was being enlarged to fragment and recompose in varying iterations. Then, when attempting to zoom out, things worsened. However, the fragmentation and error-generated compositions made compelling images; documented here are the screenshots taken of the sequence of rapidly occurring deviations.
