Xiaoxitian Hanging Sculpture Art LBE VR

This project utilizes LBE (Location-Based Entertainment) immersive large-space technology to digitally resurrect the zenith of ancient Chinese Hanging Sculpture art: XiXian Xiaoxitian. Known as the "Museum of Chinese Hanging Sculpture Art,"XiXian Xiaoxitian houses nearly 2,000 polychrome statues of immense historical value. Our interdisci-plinary team integrated advanced digital technologies, including visu-al algorithm modeling and AI reconstruction, to complete a millimeter-level digital acquisition of the Mahavira Hall. By constructing a hy-per-realistic digital model with 10 billion polygons, we achieved mil-limeter-precision replication and scientific restoration of these priceless artifacts within a virtual realm.
The project represents not only a visual reproduction but a narra-tive revolution. Through real-time ray tracing and large-space posi-tioning, visitors transcend physical constraints to experience the ul-timate craftsmanship of ancient artisans at zero-distance. Guided by a hyper-realistic digital human of the temple’s founder, Zen Master Dongming, visitors engage in a trans-temporal dialogue spanning 400 years, listening as he vividly recounts the stories behind the sanctu-ary's creation. This experience is more than a profound sensory immer-sion; it is a global paradigm for technology-empowered sustainable heritage preservation, breathing new life into immovable cultural rel-ics.
