RESONOVA is an immersive public art installation that transforms astronomical information into a multisensory experience. Developed in response to contemporary science education needs, the project invites audiences not only to observe the cosmos, but to listen to a planet.
The installation combines LED light arrays, kinetic motion, holographic projection, and spatial sound to create a responsive environment inspired by planetary rhythms. As visitors approach, the system senses their presence and activates a sequence of light, motion, and audiovisual transformation. Particle-like light converges toward the center, a planetary image gradually forms, and an associated planetary soundscape begins to unfold. After each cycle, the installation resets and awaits the next participant.
By merging scientific inspiration with poetic visualization, RESONOVA reimagines how public audiences engage with astronomy in shared cultural spaces. Rather than presenting information through static displays, it creates an experiential encounter that is intuitive, memorable, and emotionally resonant.
Positioned between education, technology, and public art, the work explores how immersive media can make abstract cosmic phenomena perceptible through movement, light, and sound. RESONOVA offers a new form of science communication—one that transforms distant celestial systems into a bodily, collective, and emotionally accessible experience.
