HORIZON bridges this gap through immersive VR, transforming planetary science and mission research into embodied learning.
Grounded in real mission scenarios, HORIZON places users within the awe and harshness of life on Mars through interactive training and simulation. Beginning in a headquarters-like base, users learn core controls and mission procedures before collecting mineral samples, restoring shelter systems, reactivating power and communication, and traversing Martian terrain in a rover informed by extraterrestrial vehicle logic. By combining scientific realism, hands-on interaction, and spatial immersion, HORIZON delivers a complete educational experience beyond the limits of conventional exhibition design, building a deeper understanding of the systems and constraints that shape human life beyond Earth.
