NC Department of Justice/NC Justice Academy Website Redesign

The North Carolina Department of Justice works to prevent crime and support law enforcement, to safeguard consumers, and to defend the State, its people, and their constitutional rights. Attorney General Josh Stein leads the North Carolina Department of Justice in its mission to protect the people of North Carolina. The NC Justice Academy lies within the NCDOJ and enhances the careers of criminal justice officers through research, education, and training.
AndiSites provided WordPress custom design & development, including advanced functionality and revised site architecture, and facilitated launch to the NC DOJ’s Windows server.
NC DOJ desired a new website and microsite with an updated design, easier-to-administer functionality, and user-friendly site navigation. AndiSites designed custom WordPress templates, including VIP pages for most accessed site content. AndiSites also designed, built, and UX tested new site navigation, in-page calls-to-action, as well as searchable databases for legal opinions and advisories. A primary goal of the project was conversion from the Kentico CMS to more user-friendly and flexible WordPress. Page content was edited for clarity and friendliness, and accessibility and SEO tools were installed so that the NC DOJ can maintain both as they continue to administer the sites.
Within 90 days of launch:
Pageviews increased 215%
Organic search traffic increased 212%
New users increased 106%
Returning visitors increased 177%
Mobile users increased 88%
