Seekology - Remarkable Brands for a Curated Experience

Seekology is a beauty marketplace that curates unique products every month to sell online and in store. They therefore needed a flexible website and marketplace, which we designed, developed and set up for them. We worked closely together to configure the marketplace settings and offered guidance on the creation of the onboarding documents for sellers.
Their brand is made up of bright, contrasting colours, with an organic feel to them, and is made of abstract shapes that represent the different elements of the brand: beauty, health and wellness. These illustrate a ‘jungle’ of products, where the user can look around, adventure through the shop, feel inspired and discover new ‘species’ of brands. The abstract forms symbolise how each brand's story is different, and how individual each product is.
This is why when designing, it was very important for us to create a uniform feel to the website, maintain Seekology’s identity through a marketplace made of different, unique brands and products. We gave the colours and the shapes a very central role in the UI with parallax and special hover effects, while respecting white space to keep a luxury look to the website, with a sophisticated balance. It was great working with such a fresh and fun identity.
