Competing in a cluttered marketplace, the goal was to capture user attention and increase their on-site read time by at least 10x. This meant reducing bounce rate, and drawing customers from all ad channels into the website. These targets were met easily by strongly differentiating the website positioning, and using novel design tactics that forced the human brain to stop and question what they were seeing. As a result, we saw engagement spike, conversion rates go through the roof (in a down market) and the client approve the investment in completing the rest of the website to match the highly effective homepage.
