The Festive Website

Sobha City Mall is one of the biggest shopping malls in Kerala, India. They approached us requesting for an extremely dynamic and vibrant website. We had two things in mind, dynamics in visuals and an easy to use CMS. Their website is basically a storehouse of a large variety of information.
It shares information about various events happening and gives details regarding the stores, offers, contact details and more. The two most important features of the website is an undemanding CMS and its dynamic style. The main area on the top portion of the home page has an overlay. It was used to hang stars when we first released the site in December symbolising X'mas. We use it to bring in the mood of celebration during special occasions and festivals. Overall the homepage displays a spirit of joy and refers to the most popular festival in the city, the Thrissur Pooram. There are temples, elephants, partying people, shopping bags, music and everything fun. The first image itself reflects the mood of the website.
The website is constantly changing with regular updates that continuously revise the information put up. The tabs are Shopping, Dining, Entertainment, Visiting and Offers.
The Entertainment section shows the movies that are playing at the INOX theatres at the mall. The movie section gives great detail including movie posters, trailers, screens and timings, and a tab that links to ticket booking. This information can be easily updated from the back end. The CMS was created in a way that it would require just basic computer knowledge to update it. The updates are done from the back end.
The site also effectively categorises its stores. So a customer can always check out the website to see if the mall has what they are looking for. The shops come under Shopping and restaurants come under Dining. It also provides basic contact details and timing of each store and even a map that leads to the store.
The simple Store map is a very useful feature that helps identify the exact location of the store you are looking for. The site shows the entire range of restaurants at the mall, complete with contact details and special offers.
The website provides a revenue generating possibility whereby they can provide prominent space for ads to the stores at the mall. Another interesting feature is the link to download the app of Sobha City Mall. Every change in the site automatically reflects in the app. The app feeds come directly from the website.
This website meets all requirements of the client. It is not simply informative but also a delight to look at!
