In a world going more digital, Shung Shung explored the opposite by turning the ephemeral into the physical. The approach transforms invisible concepts and ideas into a handcrafted user experience. The Apothecary, as a purveyor of curiosity and wonder, became the inspired theme to create a world where these “intangibles” became real elements which could be harvested and pressed into physical packs for prescription in response to our every day digital lives. The packaging features gold intaglio engravings, hand gilding, and touch-responsive inks to create a feedback-based interactive experience between packaging and customer meant to leave a lasting impression.
