Egon Zehnder wanted to build excitement around their groundbreaking survey of 200 first-generation CDOs (Chief Digital Officers) and develop it into a tentpole piece that would:
- Educate Chief Executive Officers(CEOs) and Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) on the impact a good CDO can have on an organization.
- Demonstrate the pathway for developing and hiring for the CDO role.
- Educate incoming CDOs on how best to prepare for their role
- Build brand-awareness of Egon Zehnder as a leader in the digital transformation space.

Traditionally, they relied on static PDFs that they would distribute to their client base and to media outlets. However, they had no way of knowing how and if readers engaged with their research. They partnered with Ceros to turn their white paper into a beautifully designed interactive microsite that would inspire readers to engage with their findings and download a more comprehensive report -- keeping Egon Zehnder top of mind as a consultant and recruiter for this critical C-level position.
