Gold Seal is a leading Canadian canned seafood brand, part of Ocean Brands. The Gold Seal brand is over 100 years old, however the product remains the same – wild caught Pacific salmon, a pinch of salt, in a can.
As part of the “Naturally Full of Good” Illustration campaign, we took the opportunity to exploit the beautiful scenery and nature that typifies Canada for a multidisciplined advertising campaign. Famous landscapes, buildings and attractions scenery were the foundations to the illustrations, with an added dash of humour.
Using the two provinces of British Columbia and Ontario as the main markets the agency team was able to beautifully craft localised scenery using iconic and recognisable landmarks, further transforming these into social media videos to support the Out of Home and transit advertising.
The Blink Illustrators hand drew each of the concepts on paper before taking them into Procreate on iPads (finishing touches, text etc, added in Photoshop) .
The successful campaign was shown national wide.
