The Mandarin characters 十十, meaning "double ten" in Mandarin, were included to represent October 10th, Taiwan National Day. We used soundwaves as the core of the design, representing the voices of the public. In 2020, Taiwan experienced several significant impacts, including the 15th presidential election and the covid-19 epidemic. These diverse voices of the public have been heard, communicated, and understood through various channels, interweaving Taiwan with democracy and freedom.
