DuPont was searching for a way to show the impact probiotics can have on a healthy lifestyle: not just the scientific benefits, but also the human aspect of what it means to feel better and be healthier. TPM answered the call with a pair of Virtual Reality Patient Journeys. In these illustrated experiences, users step into a 360-degree space, illustrated in stunning watercolor, and see the world through the eyes of two people whose lives were changed by probiotics. In one, users travel to a health clinic in India and travel inside the gut to see how probiotics lowered infant mortality rates for a small village. In another, users meet a young college rock climber and use the kinesthetic qualities of virtual reality to see how good gut health translates to a better quality of life and an easier time on the rock wall.
