Synergy Group were engaged to provide ongoing strategic communication services for the Digital Earth Africa program, developing a communication strategy and advising on stakeholder and industry engagement to highlight the significant impact of this world-first program.

We worked closely with the Leadership Team, and the Digital Earth Africa Establishment Team of DE Africa to establish a sustained and effective program of strategic communication. This began with a communication strategy and refreshed creative concept, delivered in consultation with DE Africa’s wide range of international stakeholders. Synergy Group’s work has supported the launch of the recent World Economic Forum Report on the economic potential of DE Africa and Earth observation. We continue to provide strategic advice as the program looks to strengthen its relationships with industry. The Synergy Group team supports DE Africa on an ongoing basis by producing a range of key messaging and tailored communication materials to engage and inform stakeholders and the broader audience about the program and its impacts. These materials include website content, blogs, social media and print collateral, and the Synergy team manages the program’s social media channels and website. Thorough evaluation and reporting are carried out to assess and optimise the effectiveness of communication, and engagement rates across the program’s channels have risen by as much as 100% since the beginning of Synergy Group’s engagement.
