The Art Institute of Chicago became the first American museum to purchase one of Monet’s paintings, and now Chicago is home to the largest collection of works by the artist outside of Paris.

As the Art Institute’s new exhibition “Monet and Chicago” welcomes the reopening of art museums in Chicago, we created a special Snapchat Lens that puts Chicagoans (or at least their reflections) inside a Monet painting.
